Some of my friends are promoting milk (and coffee) on CorelDRAW.com. Here's another "opinion" (with argument and references):
Milk: A Cruel and Unhealthy Product
Well there is always soy milk, but then we have the devastated forest´s n parts of the world, because of soya beans? Maybe I got it wrong ;-) Aaaanyway. No cow have as up to this date, me knowing, been dead because of their milk production. Cows milk comes naturally. And they feel preetty bad if their milk isnt consumed.
You love cow milk that you jumped to the last title regarding its alternative and left the entire article :)
Note that "Cruel" preceded "Unhealthy" in the title, the first subtitle is "Cows Suffer on Dairy Farms" and the second subtitle is "Mastitis" – "Painful inflammation of the mammary glands, or mastitis, is common among cows raised for their milk and is one of dairy farms’ most frequently cited reasons for sending cows to slaughter…"
[Stefan: Cows milk comes naturally. And they feel preetty bad if their milk isnt consumed.]
But they will feel even worse if they are treated like unnatural milk-producing machines and are genetically manipulated and pumped full of antibiotics and hormones, and their calves are taken away from them.
Quoted from the article:
"Some spend their entire lives standing on concrete floors; others are confined to massive, crowded lots, where they are forced to live amid their own waste…"
Between you and me: I love cow milk too.
Hi Stefan, et el,
Cow milk will hurt you in the long run. Two much fat and protein. Processed soy milk becomes toxic during process. A glass of rice milk with a little no fat half and half added turns into a better than cow milk drink. Thick creamy and no fat. Tastes just like the old fashioned thick cow milk in the bottle and it's actually healthy for you.
This is the first time I am taking a good look at this site. Very cool.
Thanks Stefan and Bob,
The article also suggests other dairy-product alternatives such as almond, rice and oat.
Another article: What's best? Soy milk, cow's milk, raw milk and fermented milk (kefir) www.naturalnews.com/021986.html
Welcome to CorelDRAW.com, Bob.
Thanks. Great to be in a place loaded with talent.
I have always used the old newsgroup thing ( for many years) and first took a look at this site when it was launched. I went back to the old newsgroup for ease of use and right to the point info.
And now that this has grown it is very cool place to see so much more than just text.
...and "The Devil In The Milk"
