  • Converting bitmaps into spot colors...

      
    Your client has given you a logo in a bitmap format and now you need to reproduce the same graphic using spot colors. Did you know PowerTRACE gives you the ability to use spot colors in the trace result? Simply click on the colors tab within PowerTRACE and select the spot color palette you would like use the colors from.

  • Use any fill as a seamless pattern.

    Ideally graphics are created specifically for use as a pattern fill so you can't see where one tile ends and another starts. Luckily CorelDRAW gives you an option to  to use with any type of pattern fill, called mirror fill. Once you load a pattern click on the mirror fill button and you'll see that any pattern can be turned into a seamless pattern.

  • Reducing color while using PowerTRACE

      
    The outline trace tracing method in PowerTrace automatically tries to reduce the number of colors in the image before tracing, but did you know you could reduce them even further? The Colors tab within PowerTRACE allows you to add colors, remove colors, merge colors either automatically or you can do it manually.

  • Give your designs the distressed look
