As previously mentioned, we regularly run different contests in different regions around the world. This time, I am really excited to announce a new contest for the European users of CorelDRAW, especially for those of you in the Vinyl and car wrapping industries: That’s a Wrap!

Running in partnership with Computer Arts magazine and Roland DG, you are invited to get creative and create a vinyl design that is reflective of yourselves and your “world”. Corel has selected three categories for participants to enter:

  1. Partial Vehicle Wrapping: Create a partial vehicle wrap by making use of one of 2,000 vehicle templates available with CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 to find one that fits your vehicle. The 2,000 vehicle templates are only available with the full version of the software. If you are using the 30-day trial version, please use the car template provided on the contest website.

  2. Wall Wrap: Use any of the creative vector illustration tools to create a vinyl wrap design for a wall in your home or office. This could be a scene of your favourite beach, a secret garden or anything which reflects yourself and your world
  3. Monument Wrap: Design a creative wrap for one of your favourite monuments or buildings. This could be ivy growing on the Big Ben in London or a car race on the Brooklyn Bridge. Your imagination is your only boundary!

The contest is open to residents of United Kingdom, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Poland, Spain and Russia only, from 10AM GMT on 30 September until midnight GMT on 30 November.

  • Looking forward to one of the contest in our region too :)

Best of luck to all of the participants.

  • Silvio, I am certain we will be running other contests in other regions (or even world-wide) in the future.

Tweed, my understanding is that the winners have been chosen by the jury and that we are in the process of contacting them first. We should update the pages with the winners in the coming weeks.

  • Hello Gérard,

    Regards from Germany, Tweed

  • Hello Gerard,

Is there some provision to promote a international contest enabling the participation of users from other continents (something like: CorelDRAW International Contest 2010)?

Why until now only users in North America and Europe had the opportunity. "Corel´s World" is not only about these privileged continents.
