As mentioned in my previous post, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.1 has been certified for Windows 8 (as a desktop app) so that your favourite suite of graphics applications not only works on your operating system today (XP, Vista or Win7), but also to be ready if and when you will upgrade your computer and/or OS. And for those with a touch-enabled screen, CorelDRAW X6.1 will react to pinch-to-zoom, two finger panning, ……

In addition to Designs, CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 is now listed in the Windows 8 Store. While CorelDRAW remains a desktop software (e.g. it won't work on Windows RT / ARM based tablets), version X6.1 is fully compatible and certified for Windows 8.

We do expect another update to Designs to go live before the official availability of Windows 8 on October 26 2012, and CorelCAD will also be listed in the Windows…
