Too many times today
“I / O read error.”
Corel Draw X6 still have huge problem during operation with big files and large amount of memory.
Lost 20 minutes of job!
Just upset.
This is the time when you need something by deadline and software crash...
Have to redo same pages, same way...
Time for double espresso... LOL
Redo it!!!
It's hard when you have Math text and need a lot of concentration!
I/O errors are usually problems with the hardware, not the software. The windows event viewer may give you more information -- look in both the application and the system logs.
But, since you mention big files, you should also check you are not trying to create a file of more than 2Gb. That was until recently a limitation of windows and I don't think that even X6 can create valid files exceeding 2Gb.
Hello Andrie; The I/O stands for Input / Output and if you are getting a Read error it means that your computer is unable to read from where the info is, and could be the beginning of some real problems, and should be checked out.

I know when this kind of errors comes out. For example if you try save file and then convert to JPG or PDF. You file is big and cross-linked processes crush your main file... It’s kind of failure of file protection...
