Hello forum members,
I am new to this forum. I searched the whole database and did not find an answer for my Corel Draw question concerning the combination of objects.
That is why I would like to post this question here. I hope that you can help me to solve this problem.
The basic problem is: I want to combine e.g. 3 objects. Those three objects are not overlapping. My problem: I want to combine them to one object which has only ONE outside border. Is that possible to achieve with Corel Draw?
Maybe you have an idea?
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
Many thanks in advance!

You can add images to your post from the Options tab > File attachment to help us understand the question. (Check the Help section in the upper right corner)
After you select the three objects, you will find a Combine button on the upper Property Bar (see attached). Is that what you need?
Thank you for your reply. The problem is, that, when i combine the three objects that way, I receive let' say "three objects combined" but with 3 separate paths. I want to have an object with only one path.
I just uploaded a simple example (Version X3)

I found no attachment in your post.
Sorry, I have been offline for some hours.
Unfortunately your statement seems to confirm that it is unachievable with built-in functions. So I'll try out your suggestions. Thank you very much for these, especially for your easy to understand illustrations!
Anyhow I tried to upload the missing attachment again. It shall illustrate more clearly to you what I try to do with it. The background is as follows: I try to build an image map for a country. This country consists of states. In order to create usefull image maps I have to "combine" several "sub-districts", because they together build a state. If you look at my example you see a) the state (in grey) and b) the grid of all borders (in red). Maybe these borders could help to build a "closed" state-path?
Maybe this inspires you to have another idea?!
Best regards
Weld (or Combine) all states and then use the Interactive Contour Tool from the Interactive Tools Flyout.
Remove the Lens to be able to use the Interactive Contour Tool.
