Still no solution?? Corel X4 don't install in Windows 10?

Tried everything..... When the PC is broken then Corel X4 to trash????

I've contacted Corel supprt and they say .... Corel X4 is not supported ...... Best solution ... buy X7 .....

Really this is so difficult? Why windows is blocking this app? Maybe we should contact Microsoft.....

You cannot instal X4 but You can install Corel 11 !!! Great ..... Older program installs perfecty but newer doesn't....

What's more Corel X4 is working installing in Windows 7 64 bit and after upgrade to win 10 64bit was working but now in Windows 10 is incompatible..... WHY!!!!!!! Why somebody from corel give us a hint?

I believe you are asking the wrong company. You should be asking Microsoft why. After all, version X4 of the CGS has been around for more than 7 years and Windows 10 was just introduced.

If you have Win 10 Pro or Ultimate, you could run a virtual machine under Win 10, and then in the virtual machine, run an older copy of Windows and your Corel X4 graphics suite. Another means, if you have the Pro or Ultimate version of Win 10, is to run X4 in the compatibility mode for Win XP. But that may not always work, depending on how 'compatible' the compatibility mode was coded in Windows 10.

I have Windows 10 PRO but Windows XP will work for only 30 days....
How about special permissions to an app? Why it is compatible with Vista 64bit based system and in Windows 10 64 bit cannot install.... but after upgrade for windows 7 to windows 10 it works.... You can install it in Windows 7 but in 10 not? So why it is working in Windows 10 and You cannot install? What is more Windows 10 is supposed to be cored on Vista engine... and X4 is compatible with Vista 64 bit..... So what can You tell when older version Corel Draw Graphic Suite 11 is working and newer X4 is not? WHYYYY? I cannot write to Microsoft because there is no error ID? Where can I grab error ID?

Hello pryhu; I installed 10, I had 7 and X7 worked but I tried to install X4 and Lotus SmartSuite which was bought by IBM ( which was let die ) and I got in touch with MS and they hooked me up with a woman, she said if it worked in 7, I would be better to switch back if I wanted the programs to work. She screen Shared with me an started to switch back.

Ok. I know that Idea that it worked in Win7 but I've deleted Win 7 and have no possibility to back to win 7. I know it can winstall in Win 7 and 8 but have unfortunately no option. I must install it in win 10... it is ridiculus that it works in 10 after upgrade from win 7 but now I cannot install it..... because Microsoft is blocking it.... even that app is 64 bit....

Hi Again pryhu; Depending on the ver. of Windows you up dated from, if you contact MS they can change you BACK. Windows 10 has NOT shown me anything that's of much use to me and old programs worked in Windows 7, SO IT IS BETTER............ 10 is slower anyway..............
