Best Microsoft Surface for running Corel Draw X7?

They're not serious designers then. Just playing with Draw. If you want to get serious with it you need shortcuts and just try that when you can't use the Function keys like you do with a normal keyboard. Just try Shift F4. You need both hands.

And the screen size is a serious issue if you want to do anything big, you'll need to keep zooming in and out , F2, F3 and F4. ANd I never got to grips with the right click stuff and that was with the Wacom pen that came with mine. I hear they've been downgraded somewhat for the latest version.

BUT,

the biggest problem is Windows touch. Its not a patch on Android (and probably IOS though I've nver tried one) and frankly its just annoying. Of course Android is coming at this from a different angle and doesn't anything like the complexity of input options Windows offers

I swallowed the hype with the Surface Pro 2 (I got the second from top of the range, the 256GB) and it cost me a small fortune for what use it is. OTOH , my mothers Sony Z2 tablet is superb, but of course you can't run windows software, but then thats probably a good idea on a tablet.

Oh and mine sometimes reboots itself if you uncouple the keyboard. Not repeatable but it does happen.

Get a decent laptop instead.

Oh and the pen tracking is crap. Even though I have recalibrated a dozen times, even downloading a NON-MS calibration app with a gazillion calibration points, it's still crap around the edges.

I have the SF Pro4, i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD and the new CorelDRAW X8. Great!
