Apparently there are various prices - Student Versions and suchlike.
So, I attempted to do that, but clicking on Buy Now just takes me back to Download Trial!

In X8 it's under the text menu I don't have X7 loaded anymore.

Apart from that I still have the problem on trying to see the cost of updating Corel from a test version to a full set or if it's even worth it; I've only a couple of weeks left so it's looking like goodbye Corel, sadly [:'(]

you should select the text and the path (a circle, on your sample) in order to enable "fit text to path"

one thing is to test a program and other different situation is to learn the program. For test a program is enough with some days, but learning require more time. If you have somedoby who teach you you can learn on less time, on several days you'll have the basic steps for use CorelDARW.. But if you're learning from youtube and reading tutorial, it will take more time, several months at least. But you will have the same problem with other programs, although CorelDRAW is more easy and intuitive to learn. My daughter learn to use it when she was 5 years old, and it take just a few weeks
