CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 Font navigator issues

Font navigator issues

Every time I use a font navigator, weather it be Bitstream that was installed with Corel Draw x7,, and now Nexus font navigator, it changes and deletes some fonts. Now it has changed Arial (as default) to something else. I have reset the default but it does not "save as default". I'm using windows 8.1, it did the same thing on my windows 7 computer also.

Hello Mike: I have been using CorelDRAW since ver. 1 and the X8 has the Best I've used so far..... X6 Doesn't embed fonts.

FontNavigator was always the same, there's not a "Nexus font navigator" with CorelDRAW. And if you change the default font, you should use CorelDRAW, not FontNavigator. if you change the default font, it will be applied only to the current document, unless you save your options as Default for new documents (under Tools menu). FontNavigator only allows you to install and uninstall fonts, but it doesn't choose a font as default.

I understand what the font navigator does, and got the default issue ironed out, but I'm curious as to why Bitstream F.N. would change and delete fonts..
