Hi good day!
Happy new year! (nearly...)
I've been reading on making my own fonts. I learned that coreldraw can do it. In fact i also consider purchasing an online tutorial in making my own font.
However...
I think i am having problems in "exporting". I can't see ".ttf" choice in my export dialogue box. I believe this is a common problem. I also tried resetting my workspace.
I also tried exporting a "single closed figure" as suggested by Mosh in one of the threads. but to no luck i can't see the true type choice...
I will only need to make 9 new symbols. Here is an example... I need to make 9 of these with different letters inside the circle. I need it to be true type so that it can be read by a GIS software.
Help!
Thanks!

Hi K,
Try repairing your installation of CorelDraw and make sure your desired Import and Export filters are checked.
And take a look at this thread incase you haven't already done so.
Hi Aleem! Happy Holidays!
I bet a re-install on my X3 will do the trick. I have used another machine with corel 12 installed. It has a .ttf export available.
By the way, do you think i can make a single closed figure with that image?(the one in my first post?)
Keep this one as your last option.

Are you sure you have installed all the export filters while you installed X3. If not, you can install it now by inserting the DRAW CD and selecting Modify option and selecting the required filters

If you Weld the circle and the letter H, it will become one single shape. Is it what you are asking?
I tried doing such... it says. "Nothing changed."
I tricked the graphics by joining the boundaries of the H and the circle. It looks awful. haha.
Other than that, I cant achieve to export the "circled-H" the way i like it to be.
Anand, haven't modified my X3. will try and see what happens.
Thanks guys! Happy new year!
