Problem with CorelDRAW X5 installer on Windows 7?

Hi,

I just purchased CorelDRAW GS X5 and can't get it to install on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit system.

The download seems to go okay, but when I open the installer I immediately get an error:

I downloaded using both Firefox (get an error from the installer) and IE 8 (same error from the installer).

Is anyone else having luck installing?

    Hi,

    Im having the same problem. I originally tried the CNET download, it didnt work, went to Fosters site, and that's not working either. Ive deleted original install files, wiped temp files, even ran a registry cleaner. It never gets past 9%. This is the message I get:

     

    Error 1935. An error occured during the installation of assembly component {76C3F0F6-9B9D-35DA-81C6-CA8A88CC93CA]. HRESULT: 0x800736FD

    Any help would be appreciated, Ive already missed my deadline since I cant open .cdr files anymore :(
