I get an error message that "Running CorelDraw not found" when I launch Cutting Master 2 from the Application Launcher. The Registration Mark launcher doesn't work either.
I uninstalled my old version of CM2, and downloaded the newest, but still get the error message. I pulled up my old X3 Draw, and CM2 still works with it. Did I miss something during the X5 installation?
Thanks for any help,
Pat
Pat,
Do the plugins support CorelDraw X5? Many macros only run on certain versions. Check with the creator of the macro to see if/when they will be supporting X5.

Your program may copy a gms file to your GMS folder when installing. Since your program doesn't support X5 yet (most likely), it doesn't copy over the needed gms file to the X5 GMS folder. You can get the gms file from your X4 GMS directory and copy it over to your X5 GMS directory. Then test to see it it works.

Oh, yeah! That is one great docker, for those that have a collection of macros.....I found that the macros that I do not use everyday, and do not keep on a personal tool-bar, are easily found and executed from the docker...
Oh, and relative to Hugh's point, the CutPlot will not launch from the docker, but the others will

I've been busy lately and haven't had a chance to mess with x5 much. The docker sounds cool. If the gms is in the docker I would think it would show up in the customize commands area.
Can you activate it from the docker? What else can you do with the docker?

From the New Macro Manager, You can load any directory with the GMS files in it. There's no need to have it in the traditional GMS folder. It great when you have alot of macros that do different things.
The Macro Manager also lets you record, edit, create, etc. your macros.
Here's the response from Graphtecamerica:
The current release of Cutting Master 2 v1.60 does not support X5, and when we do release it, it will be downloadable from our website under support at www.graphtecamerica.com thank you,
You'll just have to use X4 until that happens... what a bummer :(
Are you (or anyone) able to use Cutting Master 2, v1.80 with CorelDRAW X5 and Service Pack 2?
After installing SP2 I found that I can no longer run Cutting Master with X5, even after a reinstallation.I get the same error "Running CorelDraw not found" message you got before Cutting Master was updated for X5.
Anyone?
Mine stopped working after the Service Pack 2 install. I contacted Graphtec America and talked to their rep. He had already heard of the problem and didn't know when it would be resolved. He had one client un-install and re-install without the service pack and that worked for him. I'm still hoping I won't have to do that and am cutting from my laptop (X3) so I know it's not the plotter...
I uninstalled X5 then re-installed the ap. It asked if I wanted to install the patch and I just cancelled the update. I then re-installed Cutting Master V1.8 and I'm back in business! I'll wait until I see a solution before I install the rest. It worked well before, and it works fine now. Windows 7 Professional 64 bit 6 gigs memory.
I've been in touch with Graphtec and they know about the problem, and there is a new build on its way.
