----- Perspective Tool For Bitmaps -----

Hi, I would like so much if the Perspective Tool could put in perspective... Bitmaps!

Put images in perspective, in walls, in buildings,
in over other image to mask an old signmaking to replace, etc.

The entire signmaking industry will be so happy to have this useful enhancement.

Also, the signmaking industry works a lot with the  'Scale World Unit'  window,
could be useful to have this window but in a toolbar to be permantely accessible.

Thanks

  • I'm not sure Jeff already knows this but you can apply a perspective distortion to a bitmap (in CorelDraw then edit...) using Photopaint by following these steps.

    1.  open the image in Photopaint and go to your tool box on the left and double-click on the selection tool to select the image (box).

    2.  copy/paste the image onto the other image you wish to use as your background (building...etc.) which would mean that you would need this image opened already.

    3.  click on your image to be distorted three times (or until you see the double arrows idicating perspective) and you can now fit this image onto your target background.

    I hope this was helpful.
