I previously had Vista & now have Windows 7, but I am still experiencing the same problem. (Even after installing on a new laptop w an Intel core I5, 8GB of ram & a 1GB video card) After a few min working in X3 all graphics on the screen disappear.( happens in Vista & 7) The page is still there & I can still save what I am working on but I have to close out & reopen that file.
I don't have this problem with any of the computers @ my shop, but of course all of the PC's there are running XP.
Is there any fix for this problem or am I gonna have to shell out to upgrade all 6 of my computers @ work to X4 or X5????
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Hi.
You should be able to run the x3 in compatabilty mode. Try it, it might work.

XP compatibility was a conflicting option with the configuration on my new Laptop... according to Dell.
In other words I don't have Windows 7 Pro. thanks tho
You could just upgrade your's to x4 or x5.
You can get x4 really cheap on amazon or ebay.
x5 is the current so it'll be a couple hundred. I'd go for the x5 since it's made for windows 7.
Then just down save all files to x3 version for your work. This should be no problem. You can even use macros to help make down saving more automatic.
I realize it's not a solution, but for what it's worth:
I had CorelDraw X3 running without issue on a Vista system for the past year or so. Also on an XP laptop for much longer.
The only thing special I had to do was download and install the service packs.

Try pressing CTRL + W to manually refresh the screen. See if your stuff comes back.
