virtual segment delete tool

Hi

I'm using this tool to erase some parts of polylines. In the attached image is an example of what it's happening. I guess is a problem of Corel Draw to recognize that two lines intersect when one of them ends on another. This particular problem (the one of the rectangle) is already solved. However, I want to know, in general, what this tool erases, or how to get what I want.

Thanks for your help, and sorry if I'm not clear, but English is not my native language

    I think you are not using X5 version. I have seen such issues with this tool in earlier versions.

    I am sure you have understood well about the tool. It does erase the virtual segments.
