i use this tool to delete some extra lines that are not needed when two curves cross

the problem is that after the use of the tool, there are 2 edges of the curves clearly visible, and the two curves dont blend in smoothly

im really sorry if im not being understood but i dont know a better way to describe it!

thx in advance

Have you tried using the Shape Tool (F10) to connect the nodes?

And changing the Miter Limit to 15 as shown below.

Can you post a screenshot of what you're experiencing?

take a close look, the edge on the right is kinda smooth, but the other two edges are doing this "not-connecting" thing

I've also found a video showing the new Virtual Segment Delete Tool. Credit go to the Dev who posted this.

:

  1. Holding alt and dragging allows you to draw a curve.  Any virtual segment which intersects that curve will be deleted
  2. Holding shift enters a weld mode.  If you click on two overlapping curve end points, it will perform a join on them.  You can also drag, or alt+drag while holding shift to create a marquee which will weld multiple overlapping nodes.

---it should be noted that this applies to SP-1 (along with VSD
working a lot better overall)
