Learn from my mistake, Corel Website Creator is one of the worst website authoring programs on the market. It is a rebranded form of Net Fusions. While Net Fusions might be a functioning software program, Web Site Creator is not. It is so bad, the not even Corel knows how to operate. Note there is no tech support avaliable. There are no forums on how to use it, it seems as if it just doesn't exist, yet they'll sale it to with Corel Draw X5 Ultimate or as a standalone for $199.99
What they won't do is provide tech support, again, they don't know how to use it. The 1100+ page manual is only a pdf file, THAT CAN NOT BE SEARCHED. The help files are written by Microsoft and are therefore useless. When I complaint about the difficulty it was advised to buy the Net Fusions 11 book to learn how to operate it. Been there have the book and it just doesn't work. Maybe Corel made enough changes to make it useless. When I delete this god awful software, the book goes into the recycle bin.
I have now wasted 16 hours over the weekend on trying to set up a site. I though I had my index page all ready to go only to find out the everything on my index page is on every page I have in my outline. They do not have masterpages as real website authoring software does, it's master borders, what ever the hell those are.
So search the forums, you'll only find this one, and there isn't much on it, because the program is not worth it. But something else, Web-Pagemaker a $50.00 program that hasn't had an update for over a year is better then Corel Website Creator, save yourselve some money, time and hairloss, buy that and not corel.
This is from Corels own page for CWC:

So is this not misleading??? It seems as if you want to just bash the hell out of me for stating what I clearly stated was my own personal and biased opinion. If it makes you feel better then go ahead. Otherwise, you seem to miss the point that you are refering me to Net Fusions, help files, which is not Corel. Therefore you are telling me to seek help someplace other than Corel. You also want to assume, I have only 16 hours with this software. Not true, I've have spend approx 30 hours to learn how to use this software and so far have learned only that Corel doesn't know how to use it nor do they offer any support. In fact, the manager for this software himself ( i'm assuming it's was actully him, as it the e-mail was from his e-mail address) is the one that advised me to purchase the Net Fusions 11 book as he admited that Corel doesn't have any support for the software.
As far as how many hours I've spent designing websites, I'd guess I have only a couple hundred hours. It's not my full time job, I do it to get a site up and running and if those I do it for want something done by someone with more experiance, then so be it. I am however doing one for our homebased business, so maybe you can understand why the number of hours I've spent and accomplishing nothing is so bothersome. As far as your assumption that I turned my nose up at your advise, how the hell do you think you are??? I have not turned my nose up at it. I haven't had time to view the site. I plan to, but I believe we are on opposite sides of the planets, so think before you accuse. Your statement of click a few icons and do some drag and drops is what I'd expect to hear from somebody that is intent on selling thier services, it says nothing about how to setup the page, which I have obviously done wrong as I'm getting everything on all my pages. As far as making the program more confusing that it needs to be. How can I make something that is offered with no support, an online only manual, help files that are useless. Also have you even looked at the manual for this software. If it is such a great and powerfull HTML generator, why is so much time, spent on telling you how to do your own coding???????????
As far as snow, I personally love it. It's the cold I don't like, but I don't hold that against the snow. I know for there to be snow, there has to be cold. I accept that. With software, I know i'm not a guru at using it. I do expect to be able to make something positive happen and expand from there. This is not the case with Corel Web site Creator.
The description of the product you posted seems spot on to me.
I don't think anyone has bashed you in this thread so far.
All I tried to do was point you where you could get some help. I am sorry that you feel that you do not want to take advantage of the resources that are available for this product but that is your decision. You only listed one problem (content showing up on all pages) and I gave you a link to a resource that would resolve this one issue. Here is the link again if you want to resolve this problem: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=382
The suggestion that you purchase a book on the software was a very good suggestion.
If you want a tutorial on how to start a web site with the product you can go over this tutorial: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4069 Understand that this tutorial is VERY BASIC and does not cover everything you can do but it will get you started.
I think if you work with the product a little longer you will enjoy what you can do with it. As with any new software product it takes a little while before the light bulb goes off and it all falls into place.
It sounds like you have frames enabled.
Can you set up a test remote profile, upload and post a URL to the test pages? See this page for how to create a remote test profile http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4071
this is what I have so far you'll find it at www.wearitnow.biz/test
What I want is the whole page to scroll. As I have it, is seems to me as if the Master borders are stationary and everything else is scrolling within them.
Let me know what I need to change.
Thanks
Scott
You have enabled a top and bottom frameset.
Click on the Page View icon and go to any page.
Press F10
On the Masterborder properties palette select the 4th tab (auto frames)
Click on the frame sets marked Top and Bottom. They will have (1) and (2) after them and be highlighted (darker gray).
Once you have clicked on them you should no longer see the (1) and (2) frame markers.
Clean up your work files and folders and generate the page again. See this tutorial on how to clean up the work files and folders: http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=4029
I figured out the frams problem and have designed a page with a layout that is working the way i want using a zero border property. So how do I now add pages where I can use that same layout without having to rebuilt for every page???

You should only have one page when you go to site view (correct?)
In site view press the New Page icon.
The page that is selected (the only one in your case) will have a copy of it (minus all content) duplicated below the selected page.
If you are using zeromargins your new page will be completely blank.
If you want to use zeromargins instead of masterborders you will need to make a "master" page which is your layout minus content. Then in site view you would select the "masterpage" press ctrl + c then ctrl + v to copy/paste a duplicate below the master, move it to the location you want it to appear, add it to site navigation, then add content
BUT..........
You are making the program more difficult than it needs to be. Unless you are an advanced user, the "master/child" method of page creation can get very complex as you lose all of the automated features of the software. You only need this method on extremely complex page layouts that cannot be duplicated using the masterborder feature (maybe 1 out of 1000 site designs)
What you "want" to do is create a page using masterborders (see this tutorial for an explanation of masterborders/layout areas) http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=382 (I know... it is the same tutorial I gave to you in my first response)
You want to place your page banner and site navigation in the top masterborder
You want to place what you want in the bottom masterborder (copyright notice, text navigation etc)
THEN... all you need to do is press the New Page icon and you will have a blank page that already has a banner, top and bottom site navigation.
Using masterborders automates the web site creation process.
If you want to export a template and attach it to this post I will put together what you should have so that you can see what you need to do in the future.
This tutorial will go over how to export a template http://www.gotfusion.com/tutorials/tut.cfm?itemID=16
If you have more than one page, select the index/home page and choose "Selected pages only" for the template.
