I downloaded CGS X3 trial version from Corel Web Site, and tried to install it to my new laptop with Windows Vista pre-installed. The installation seems okay, but never get a chance to get the program running! After double click the shortcut on desktop, the loading screen pop up then another message pop up says somethings like: "Installation incomplete, please re-install the program"
Tried to uninstall the whole suite and re-install it again, but no luck. Does anyone of you has the same problem, or any idea why this happen? Please help. I'm a newbie to Corel Draw...Thanks for your help in advance

My computer installed OK but when I went to run it, said "log in using an administrator level account". I have used Corel Draw since version 4 long ago and got this new Vista and can't seem to do it. Anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks!
I also had numerous problems installing and using Corel Draw x3 on a new Vista computer. I googled it and came up with a few suggestions--(I still have this program crash on my system periodically, so I do a backup every ten minutes!) Disable the user account settings before you do the install, for some reason that helped, additionally, make sure that (as was mentioned previously), you have ALL your security software diabled before you install the program. You can then reboot and acitvate everything that you deactivated to do the install. Not sure if that will help, but it was my answer to the problem. Hope it helps
I just upgraded with a new laptop to Vista and decided to try CorelDrawX4 for the 15 day Trial. I really love it! But not sure I can justify the upgrade when I have a perfectly good CorelDrawX3. I own a small screen printing business and have permission to use the software on my desktop at work and my laptop on the go. Do I have to do anything in particular (such as uninstalling from the old laptop?) before I try installing my X3 to my new laptop...other than disable all my security (LOL)?
Thanks! I really love the X4...I may have to justify the upgrade!
It could be the Vista that I am loving! I have been able to spend alll of 2 days playing with the X4 and then had to go back to work, where I have XP & X3. Hopefully if my trial isn't over I can play with it some more this weekend.
