Hi. Please help!
I am a beginner and have used correldraw essentials to draft a diagram. the diagram consists of several layers, all of which are drawn from scratch and some of which overlap.
In previous draft versions, there has been no issue, but recently there is this annoying rectangular box (usually white, enveloping the object in question).
Can somebody please help me with instructions to remove it?
Grateful thanks!
Do a search in this forum "remove white box" you will find all the answers you need.
Hi Sherron
Apologies. Maybe I had not made myself clear on the previous post. I have had a look at the suggested topics, but my issue unfortunately does not lie with a box around my jpg, - I wish it were that simple! My issue rather is within my jpg, around an object I'v drawn. Thanks for direction though, I'll remember that for future.
Perhaps this will explain better:
I drew an object, (balloon shaped), that fits between two adjacent objects.
I used a hatched pattern fill to distinguish the balloon from the adjacent objects (themselves have a colour and some transparency but no pattern).
'My' white box appears at the edges of the object itself (within the jpg), whether it is selected or not. i.e. if I clicked on the balloon as if I wanted to resize it, the 8 resizing 'squares' appear, and around the object (like a frame), I have an unsightly white box, the inside of which appears to correspond to a square drawn around the inside edge of the 8 resizing sqares.
I'v simplified the issue, because I have several balloons, slightly overlapping in the abovementioned scenario. All of these have the unsightly white box, although some are hidden more than others due to order; and some are thinner than others.
Iv tried to rearrange the order of the balloons, and this has helped to a certain extent on the one side, but does not seem to be working on the other side.
Hope you can help me!
Hey Edward, (off subject) I was born and raised in Montreal and lived for a number years on Hyman Drive in Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
Pheonix, can you attach a file of your problem so we can see what you describe? Also, further to Edwards suggestion, the png format allows for background transparency too but supports more colours than gif.
