Can't save PNG without background

Hi,

The problem started from yesterday and I don't know how to fix it.

Every time I want to save an PNG image with no background corel keeps merging the object with the background, so it creates a white background

 

Even if I only open and click save a png image it merges with the background.

How can I fix this problem?

    I just tried this on my system (X5) and exported to PNG without problem. An irregular shape exported from Draw and then opened in PhotoPaint still as an irregular shape and no background.

    Make sure you have the shape selected and have set the 'selected only' check box in the export dialogue box.
