This all started without any reason. I shout down pc, and now i turned it on, and since then corel is not working ok...
can anyone help me?
Thanks for reply!
If you have Windows 7 or Vista, go to this location...
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Draw
Look for file size of file named coreldrw.cdt. If it is about 5kb then there is no problem If the size of this file is higher than try deleting this file. It will be recreated next time you start coreldraw.
In XP, you might have to look into this location...
C:\Documents and Settings\users\<your username>\Application Data\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5\Draw
there is no problem with coreldrw.cdt... it is 4kb...
and yes, i use win 7
Could be that your system is cluttered. You should clean up your registry, disk Defrag and probably look at the number of fonts you have installed.
Also, check to see if the default printer is a networked one. It's better to have a local one set as the default.
I recently got a copy of WinZip System Utilities. Tried to set my system right. It takes care of almost every thing you mentioned Adrian. So far I found it a good app.

I'll take a try at it.
At the moment I use CCleaner for registry issues.
And defrag using the Windows Default tool.
Even I used it before I had my CSU. I used the Defraggler from the same company for defrags. These utilities have much more. Memory optimizer, Duplicate file finder, Registry repairer and optimizer, Scheduler for almost every task. Really a good product.

ok... i reinstall corel draw, but now im getting Invalid filter error, when trying to open cdr files!!! what is that???
ok, just solved it... i had some updates done in paste...
For defrag i use diskeeper since it runs all the time when system is idle, can defrag the mft and swap if i remember correctly but requires reboot.
