So I'm creating some interface elements in Draw, and the shadow transparency blend settings always go out the window when I try to export my art as any type of bitmap. It just flips back to "Normal" regardless of what I've set it to be. Is this a known issue?
I can post attachments if necessary...
Thanks,Addison
OK, let's see...

See if this helps. I'm trying to use "If Darker" to get a really subtle upper shadow on the text, but it always flips back to "Normal" (or possibly "Multiply") when I export as any type of bitmap.
Awe, man -- looks like the same results I'm getting. Maybe the drop shadow will get overhauled in X6. And I've checked out Sancho's shadow macro more than once. It just gets me down that Draw's doesn't work as it should...
Thanks for your time and help, Jeff.

Try multiply mode instead
Yeah, I'm not giving up yet. But I'll most likely go back to Expression Design for stuff like this for now...
Yep -- that's the output I'd expect. But the real point is having these effects work as they should, plus I'd like to keep my text editable without having to re-apply this effect every time there's a text edit. I guess it's more of a workflow thing...
Thanks, Steve -- I agree with you.

No, I'm not seeing the color problem here.
I got the impression you did. Your screenshot clearly shows that the shadow is darker than the original 'If Darker' shadow.
Here's what I get. Export seems to lose the merge mode, while it's kept with Convert to Bitmap.
