No. But you can control the color of the document page, if you like. Menu:Tools->Options->Document->Page->Background.
Maybe you could create an image with a background colour as per Hugh's suggestion, and then save it as a Template. Each time you open the template you will have the background colour you set.
I think what he is asking if you can change Coreldraw main application UI color, most graphic programs have changed from white color ui to dark gray, as seen on Photoshop CS4 and 3ds max, Is there is no way this can be changed, I like this program, but pure white it makes it hard to use it for a long time, if you have any suggestion, script, add-on, macro, that can accomplish this let me know as well,
