Uniform transparency

I'm new to corel draw and i just wanna ask if its possible to make a uniform transparency on a curved shape.

For example:

Hello Duras; When you select the "Transparency" tool you will see a pull down menu at the top left of the main menu that will let you select what type of transparency you want.

Another method is the Gaussian Blur:


Which I used to do this (making sure your image is a color - not black and white - bitmap):

I found out it also works with the mesh tool.
