Hi,
Thank you for this detailed info
I understand .cdr is a proprietary format ? so, wouldn't it be nice if the Corel engineers could supply a conversion tool to read ANY version from day 1 included ? I guess new formats offer more features, so an upward path should be technically possible
Microsoft, so often flamed, does offer this feature, sometimes build-in, sometimes as a stand-alone tool
I know my comments are nuts, but just wanted to say it

Ted, CorelDRAW 9 definitely supports v3 files if they are truly v3 files. X3 should also still support v3 files. Sometimes early v3 files were truly v2 files (think clipart). For that, you must have v5. -- Foster D. Coburn III CorelDRAW Unleashed http://www.coreldrawunleashed.com Books, Boot Camps, Conferences and Magazines --Foster D.
