Can any one tell me how to set the default font in Photo Paint 12 please. It always reverts to AvantGarde and I cannot change it in the options. I've tried saving work spaces and creating a new one but it always defaults to AvantGarde. Argh!
There must be a way surely - I can set it in Corel Draw 12!
It seems to me that the font that PP "defaults" to is the last font you used in PP. I just tested it and that is what happened.
Yes it is once it is open. But when it is closed and re-opened it will again default back to the AvantGarde font. I do a lot of comunicating with jpegs and screen dumps and am constantly opening and closing the program and it would be so much easier if it could be set to default on start up.
Maybe a reset of your workspace may help.
By default it should be arial..
Hit the F8 key on your keyboard when it starts up and reset to the default
Thanks for this but when it is reset to factory defaults it still starts with the default Font as AvantGarde Bk BT.
Maybe that's what the UK version is set to default to.
Maybe it has to do something with your registry...
I'm not a programmer or anything close but you should look into that.
