I'm running on a fairly new Dell Studio laptop computer with Windows 7 Pro as the OS.
The font was installed using the normal install font directions.
As stated above the font works fine in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Word.
It shows as installed in Corel Draw font menu but will not print when trying to type, the curser just blinks.
I know a number of other people have had this same problem, I hope by now there is an answer.
I also have 2 desktop computers running Windows XP Pro OS where the font works perfectly in all programs.
Hope there is an answer to this problem.
Thank you
When you say "custom font", what do you mean?
And what format is the font? Type 1? ttf? something else?
It's a font I had made specially for my business by an experianced fontographer.
The font comes in two different versions True Type and Open Type.
Corel Draw 11 does not work with either.
Hello thefarmer; If you got a almost new computer, and payed for a custom font, it sounds like it's time to up grade Corel also. I use ver. 11 some myself, and I up graded it over a year ago to X4 and couldn't believe the things that could be done SO much faster and better. And you can take it off of your income tax, if you are in the states.... And Hugh and Jack have been around for some time using a computer and they DON'T give bad advice.
My Thoughts George
