I want to collect here all bugs from CDX6.
After 5 minutes, I noticed that bug with the barcode still exists - after I generate the PDF, black from barcode is composed of CMYK, not clean K-black.
What I do wrong? or how I can fix that? Usually, I open the file in Corel X3, and I generate the PDF again from there.
LE:
In the following days, I will return with other bugs, if I discover them in working in typography.
Thanks!
It's not a bug, if you generate a barcode it will be an OLE object, allowing you to edit and change. If you use the "preserve pure black" option in Tools/Color management the barcode will output as black only. If you don't use this opton but anyway you want to output as only black, or change the color, you can cut (Ctrl+X) and Edit / paste special, choose "Metafile" The barcode now will be a group of objects, then you can ungroup, change colors, etc. so you can change to CMYK 100% black only. But, if you use the "preserve pure black" option enblaed, you don't need to change anything. That's the same of X3, X4 and X5
@Ariel,
I work with many bar codes, which are changed regularly. I can not make them all curves, and then generate them again, whenever they are modified.I want in the PDF, to have only barcode consisting from black, but this must not influenced the other colors of black, so that the remaining elements of K-100% must be overprint.
I did set that you said, but nothing has changed!I said that is a bug, since it is a contentious issue in several places on the Internet, which has generated many complaints.Corel X3, makes the PDF correctly - all bar codes are K, and the remaining elementsare black overprint, so that the typographer, have clean CMY films.
It is annoying, to open every time X3 when I have barcode.
@George, that is not a bug, that is a mosquito!

I do several barcode each week and I don't have problems, the barcode is only 100% black when output, What settings do you use for generate the PDF?
btw it seems a feature request, not a bug. Of course, the barcode change after X3 and sometimes is annoying the extra-step (cut/paste special) if you need to change the color (ie for use a Pantone color) but I believe is not so difficult. At least is faster to do 2 commands than go to another version.
CorelDRAW X6 doesn't open X5 templates (.cdt)

Hi All
i have checked and i have no problems opening no files in x6, templates you name it, if you have a problem it might be technical, what i did however notice, corel x6 is the most stable corel version up to date, but adding on to that im using the 64 bit edtion, i only have one query tho, i opened the same file lets call it file "b" in corel x5 and it used up 1.4gb ram, as soon as it goes up toe 1.5gb the program just went caboom on me. but file "b" in corel x6 used up 7.5gb of ram,, so now im asking, could it be that corel x6 uses up more resources?
b.t.w thanks for the great work with x6 64-bit edition, it really is a blast to design in
I've just found a little one with tables. When resizing a column or row, the margins adjust accordingly. So if i have cell margins all set to 1mm, then i stretch the column to double the width, then the left and right margins also double in size. This is not how you would normally want a table to behave and not how it behaved in previous versions.
Oddly, when I stretch it to double the width and can see the left and right margins have increased to 2mm, the Margins pop up still shows all margins as 1mm. When i change it up to 2mm and then back down to 1mm, it displays correctly again.
Transformation docker is not working properly, whenever I try to copy any object using transformations docker on different position it copied the object on same position.
