Hi to all.
If I have one object and on that object are 3 pictures, how can I cut one of them , I try the cut/paste but it does not work, also try crop but then I loose the other. I just want to copy one part of image and paste to another place or another open document..
I need something to select the part of the object then to cut that part and to paste it to another place..
This method works if you're using X3 and might work with earlier versions - Import your bitmap image and size it as needed > Create an object with "no fill" the size and shape of what you wish to cut out of the bit map > position the no fill oblect on the bit map where you want to do the cut out > slect the object, hold the shift key down and then select the bitmap target object and click the INTERSECT button > you will then select the object and move it out of the way - then click in the middle of where the cut out object was on the bit map and you will then notice the area will highlight and you can move it to where ever you need it -
With this method you can continually "cut and paste" parts of any bit map image and the original image remains unchanged - Hope this helps -

DBrooker, thanks for tghe reply, but I probably something doing on the wrong way...
I can not find the intersect button, but found the Arrange->Shaping->Intersect, but with that I can not get the result :( , and there is Source and Target to check or not...
The intersect button is usually located to the right of the WELD and TRIM buttons - it has nothing to do with ARRANGE or SHAPING - DB
DBrooker, I'm searching Intersect Button everywhere, but can't find it, and not just that, there is no TRIM and WELD button , btw I have X3 version...
The toolbar and the approriate buttons should appear upon 2 or more objects being seleceted - DB
