Greetings,
I installed X6 the other day and now and again I notice it prints a faded blue box around a bitmap. I have seen this happen in older versions of acrobat, but not sure why this would happen in X6. I went back to X4 and it prints just fine. Appreciated if anyone had any ideas?
I'm printing to a Xerox Docucolour 252.
What are your color management settings?
Is the image RGB?
Thanks for your reply.
RGB colour profile = SRGB IEC61966-2,1
CMYK colour profile = US Web Coated (SWOP) V2
Grayscale: 20% dot gain
Primary Colour = CMYK
Rendering = Absolute Colourmetric
And yes, as a rule of thumb I keep all my bitmaps CMYK as the Fiery driver seems to do a better colour conversion vs CorelDraw. The odd thing is it only does it with certain bitmaps, I don't see a rhyme or reason.
So I played with the colour engine settings. When I selected "none" the box went away but the image quality was hideous.
*headdesk*

Change to perceptual
THANK YOU!!!!! *sigh of relief*

You must have changed that as relative colorimetric is the default, while perceptual is what's needed
