Our company recently switched web mail clients and they went with Gmail hosting/servers. We used to use Outlook and now use Gmail opened up in a browser. (google Chrome)
When we used to use Outlook, I would receive emails from customers and copy/paste the text into CorelDraw. It would show up exactly how they typed it to me (font and format) into Corel perfect and I would go about my business.
Now since we have switched over to using Gmail this no longer works. When I copy/paste into Corel from Gmail it kicks back to our default font and not the font that my customer sent to me in the email.
On a side note, whenever I copy/paste from Gmail into MS Word, Word retains the original font/formatting. I can then copy/paste the text from word into Corel and Corel recognizes it and retains the original font/formatting.
I would really love to find a way that I do not have to go from Gmail to Word to Corel and just go straight from Gmail to Corel.
Any help that anyone has to offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,Scott
Hello Scott; You can still use IE to open Gmail, but I think Fire Fox is a lot better, and it's Free to down load.I also use Thunderbird for my mail. It lets you put your letter head in the email.

Thanks for the reply George.
I just tried that and it does indeed work, so I might just have to start using Fire Fox.
I wonder if anyone knows a work around to get Chrome to work however?
Scott
Scott I don't know how Gold does, but some programs look at text as graphics instead of text and also how text is saved.
