Does anyone with a premium CorelDraw membership know the features of the QR code generator built into Corel x6? I have a few questions I'd like to ask about it. Thanks
Incidentally, QR code is standard membership in X7, which means that you can download the X7 trial and test whatever QR features you want to use -- and then decide whether to get premium membership for X6 or upgrade to X7.
I was just wondering if you get more features in it than 300 characters in the CorelDraw QR code generator verses the one I have now that works in CorelDraw x6. Can you put images in it too? I can't do that with the one I have now. Thanks for the info though.
The other thing I've found is that although I've put QR codes in a couple of places including leaflets, adverts and billboards only a couple of people have ever used them.
They haven't really caught on, and I suspect the average person either doesn't know what they are, doesn't have a program on their phone that is capable of using them, or just doesn't know how to use them -- which is often a bit fiddly to get them large enough to recognise yet still show the entire image.

I use it a lot with very positive returns. In most cases a super sale/deal is set up on a private page on a website, the qr code takes you there for the deal. I also have restaurants that have their entire menu on pdf, one scan and you got the full menu, one famous cheesesteak hoagie place has it on posters throughout Phila area. A few bed and breakfasts use it to access pdfs of places in the area to see and do stuff.
Well I ask because my need is for a chain grocery store. They want to put "flavor" profiles next to a price tag for certain "drinks" in the store. I've told them they have to keep it simple or it may not work.

Put the profiles on web page, use a page for each or anchor to page sections. Scan takes you to the page. Easy
Ok...all this said...I have made the tags with the QR code pointing to the flavor profiles on their web site. (KISS) (keep it simple stupid) I have submitted them for approval so ...thanks for the guidance in this problem. Much appreciated!
