How can I be working on a file saved to my hard drive on a Friday with no problems come in on Monday now the same file will not open? "Invalid Argument"
File is a 139MB vehicle wrap with rasters and vectors.
Tried the backup - no go!
Tried copying the file to another temp directory on my hard drive - no go
Tried opening the file with X7.1 - no go (opens but just as a blank page)
Tried opening on another pc with X4 - no go
Tried renaming it _no go!
Tried shutting down for 5min - no go!
I have a batch file that "Kills" all CD processes and also deletes all temp files and I run this batch file after every CD crash.

good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion Jeff. Unfortunately it didn't work. I wouldn't care if we didn't have a whole fleet of these trucks to wrap. We told them the first wrap would take longer and the rest after would be faster. We just finished the first one.
Maybe try in a newer version of Draw also. Are all macros disabled also? It's a long shot but good luck, hope you get it open.
To disable macros hold F9 at start of Draw.

"Invalid Argument"Hi, I've seen this in the past also. Was never able to figure out what causes it, but maybe try this. Duplicate the file on disk rename extension to zip open zip and find cdr file inside drag that out to desktop try opening that in Draw. good luck! [/quote] Look in a folder/file called RAW.

Have you tried importing the file in X4 and X7.1?
