Can anyone try this and see if it's just me?
Type a word. Use the shape tool and nudge any of the letters either way. Okay, it works here. So far, so good.
Change the type to something like 200 points. Now try nudging the letters. It no longer works - I can no longer nudge an individual letter in any direction.
Just me or ? Being able to nudge the individual letters (manual kerning) seems to stop at about 150 points, on any font.
Hello Anna; Take a look at your Nudge setting , and if you Hold down the Shift key and press a arrow key it multiples the move, if you hold the Ctrl key it divides it.

That's not what I'm saying, George. I'm saying that the NUDGE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL on individual letters at 150 points and over, but works perfectly at any point size smaller than that. I can't manually kern large-set type, PERIOD.
I'll be darned. George, I'll give you the shift key hats off. I had JUST opened a file in X3 (we still have that installed) and nudge works just fine at ANY size there - when I reopened the file in X7 it no longer worked. I just tried it in X5 and it doesn't work there. ARRRGGH. Thanks, guys - I could NOT figure out why it was working in X3 and not in X7.
You're right, Joan, which means that George was completely right too.I was pretty sure that the nudge settings had nothing to do with the nudge letters setting (since one is a fixed unit and the other a percentage) but it appears that they actually are connected.Wonder if it always has been like this?

Yes I think it has.
Sometimes working with large text (1000pts+) you have to increase your nudge amount even when you are using Shift.
FYI, Corel has been notified about this issue (which of course doesn't automatically mean that it can/will be fixed).
