I noticed my custom set of shortcut keys are not showing up in the 'Customization, Commands, Macros' section of the options box. The custom assigned shortcut still works thought but this is strange.
Why is this happening and has it been addressed?
Hello signcoartdtp; As far as short cut keys, Corel doesn't have many that aren't already in use as I'm sure you know, but a icon can be added to any of them even the one you make your self. You can select a icon from a MS list like the screen shot shows.

this particular macro is used only with a shortcut key.
if the macro is correctly installed, it should be under the Macro list, maybe not in alphabetical order. If you can't find it, try to search choosing "All commands", or open the Macro editor (Alt+Shift+F11), select the macro and assign hotkey with the secondary mouse button

Ah, the ole work-around routine...instead of testing and verifying that this BUG really happens.
