In the CorelDRAW X6 text block (simple, figured - it isn't important) it is necessary to change width of separate symbols or words, i.e., for example, to allocate with the text cursor the word and to establish for it 80% of width. How it can be done?
You can do this with artistic text, but not paragraph text.
Select the text object and look at the property bar. You should see its width.
You can perform calculations in the property bar fields. So, if you put the cursor at the end of the number that appears there and add *0.8 at the end, it will calculate a new width for the block, at 80% of whatever it was before.
Thanks, but your councils treat all text block entirely, and I am interested in scaling of the separate word in this block.

May I suggest you use an application that has control of characters then? This is usually done via character styles but with most you can also wing it. It's just slower than creating a character style once one has multiple instances to format.
Thanks, but me interests only Corel DRAW.
