Hi,

perhaps i'm overlooking a setting.

When I select and copy a drawing from the designer to ms work or mspaint it's not 1:1

the dimensions are not the same.

When I do this from mspaint to word it's 1:1

When I create a square from 10X10cm in the corel designer and copy paste in into word it becomes 7,58X7,57cm

Neither mspaint or Word support vector based objects - like Designer uses.

You can't expect copying a vector drawing to size accurately when pasted into mspaint. Mspaint only supports bitmaps (like BMP, PNG, GIF and so on). When you're pasting into Word, it's also probably pasting as a bitmap image, and it's close enough to square that if you were to format the dimensions in Word it would size nicely.
