CorelCAD 2014
[If I wasn't having video driver issues, I'd post images to help explain]
Let's say I have a huge drawing in model space. In paper space, I have a tab defined to print on 11x17 paper for my printer. I dbl-click within the print viewport to adjust the part of the drawing I wish to print. It looks great. I then rt-click the sheet tab, select print, and select print preview. Here, the preview shows a different part of my drawing than I just selected. It prints the same as the preview.
I close the print window and can still see the sheet tab with what I want. I save. I close CorelCAD. I run again, I open the file again, click the sheet tab and see that now the viewport is showing what the print preview showed a bit ago---not the view I have just saved.
Why is it doing this? How can I fix it?
Here's a video showing my print issue.
The file was originally created in AutoCAD, which I have abandoned since I found CorelCAD.
Hi Aaron,
Looks like a bug in CorelCAD: if you change view inside viewport with scroll bars (as you do in your video), than the view inside viewport is not saved, so if you are trying to preview or change to Model space than back to Layout - you see an old view inside viewport.
If you will use PAN command instead of using scroll bars - everything should work OK. So - don't use scroll bars to change the view inside viewport.
BTW - the same bug is in Mac version of CorelCAD.

Maxim, thank you so much for explaining this bug and the workaround! I'm happily printing the views I wish.
