Huge Problem

Hi All

I can't get CorelDraw to open on my PC at all

It will not let me uninstall it and no matter how far back I go with system restore it has no effect.

When I try to open corel a box pops up with

Key:"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\" Value:"ConfigDir" not found in registry

So I click on OK and get

The base UI Language directory is invalid

Click OK

  • We've seen that problem too.  The problem is that the language pack is not installed correctly or not installed at all.   A quick fix is to just re-install the language pack.   Assuming that you want english, you would execute this comand from your CD:

     CE-Drive:\Disk1\CGS13\en.msi

There are no responses to this install, it just re-installes the language pack for English.   For other languages choose the appropriate msi.   These are generally named two characters + .msi, e.g. French = fr.msi and spannish is es.msi.
