I want to create designer patterns with my own flowers and shapes etc so they fill the page evenly but not in uniformed lines
I think I will need a Macro for this?
Never had any experience with Macros......are they easy to install and use. Do they affect the software in any way like slow it down. Can anyonne recommend a good one for creating patterns in X5
Yes, Symmetrical 2 is a commercial macro but helps create patterns.
It can now create seamless ones too.

Macros, once installed, can be used at anytime.
What you need to do is create an icon on your workspace to easily launch it.
Also, you can use the Macro Manager. (Tools > Macros > Macro Manager (SHIFT+ALT+F11) )
Here's an instructional video found on MAcroMonster.com on how to install, Create a shortcut. and use macros.
Hello PINKGEM; Anything that you put in the computer will slow it down, but you won't be able to tell adding some macro's. And jeff was able to tell me how to install and put a icon on the toll bar ( less than 5 min. ) and if he can do that for me he can do it for anybody. ( And so can John and others ) I use the macro's that I got from Jeff and John all the time and they work GRATE. ( Save me a LOT of time and cussing. )
