Hi everyone, this is the first time that I've posted here so hopefully somebody can help me.
I want to be able to create guidelines in CorelDraw X4 that show up on every page in my CorelDraw document, but without having to open the Object Manager and highlight the Master Page before I create them.
At the moment when I open a new document and create guidelines they only show up on the first page and although it isn't difficult, it's annoying to have to move them manually on to the Master Page, so can anybody explain how I can change the CorelDraw settings permanently so that whenever I open a new document and create guidelines they are created on the Master Page?
Hello Byway; try starting X4 on a blank page set things the way you want it to be, Click on "Tools" and Save Settings As Default" and that should work.

Thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can change the settings somehow and save them as default.
....Does anybody know how I can change the settings so that guidelines are automatically made on the Master Page rather than individual pages?

I've just tried it (in both X4 and X6) and my guides are coming up on the master page. But, it is happening by default. I don't think I've ever done anything to configure it that way.
The difference may be in the way we are creating our guides. I'm doing it by creating a new document and then dragging them from a ruler.

Thanks for the suggestions. The trouble is that all of the works I create need guidelines in different places so I don't want to add preset guidelines every time I open a new document, I'd just like the guidelines I do create to appear on the Master Page and therefore on each page in the document.
...and I am creating my guidelines by dragging them from the ruler if that helps.
