Hi all, i'm new at X4, it might sound silly, but i cant rotate barcode and bitmap here
my previous file contains barcode it 90 deg position. when i open it with X4 it rotated to 0 deg and full stretch
i resize it to normal size but cant rotate it to 90 deg like used to before. i tried it with transform tool, but the apply button is closed
the problem with embedded bitmap are similar, can't rotate it too.
is there anyone can help me? Thank you before
Open the file barcode.exe in your Program Files / CorelDRAW graphics suite X4 / Programs. Make you barcode, when you finish the program will prompt if you want to copy to the clipboard. Press yes, and go to CorelDRAW, in the Edit menu choose "Paste special..." an select "Windows Metafile". The result will be a group of objects, and you will able to ungroup, move, rotate, change colors, fonts, and all what you want.
I ran into the same problem with X5. I would call it a bug ... I also notice when I cut 'n paste the bar codes, they do not retain their original positions as other objects do.
There is a better way to do this:
The barcode can retain the orientation and position, even if you double-click and edit it.
It's better and faster to crop /Ctrl+X) and paste as Windows Metafile (Edit / paste special). it only takes a second, and allows you to ungroup, rotate, change colors, change typeface, and a lot more.
