I had CD X5 installed in WIN7 Pro 64. Everything was working fine including my Canon CanoScan 4400F scanner. I upgraded to WIN8 Pro 64 and now my Acquire button won't work so I can't scan directly to CorelDraw or Photo Paint.. I made sure to download the latest driver and the scanner does work using the Canon software. What's the trick for getting the Acquire button to work?
Hello scran53; I would think it's the driver that is being used for the Windows 8. I talked to a Canon rep, and was told to scan to a file, then import. ( It doesn't work for X6 in Windows 7 either. The HP works.)
