There is a cool feature in X7 where you can insert page numbers under Layout, Insert Page Number...
Is this a macro and is there a way to extract its functions?
P.S - do not confuse this with the corel page numbering macro in global macros.
You question is not clear. What do you mean by Extraction of features or function ?
The insert page numbers feature is part of a menu and not directly visible, but you can use the macro recorder to find out how it works and perhaps as guidance to construct a similar facility within a macro of your own -- if that is what you are trying to do.

You are correct Harry. I recorded it but only got part of the code since the rest of the main code is hidden somewhere else. This feature creates a bottom center text that labels each page using the Master layer (on all pages) yet still be unique to each page. If you delete a page, the number sequence is automatically updated. This is uber cool and I want it badly so I can integrate into my own macro. There is something actively monitoring the document and that's the important part I want to know about. It's like the CORELDRAWX7 OBJECTS section of a macro.
