I've got some purchased stock that exists as .eps and .ai files. None of the graphics containing text on a curve import correctly - the provider is sure I'm doing something wrong. Is there a way for me to open these files with editable text on a path?
eps, never. ai, maybe.
Even if the text isn't editable, the path should still be there (haven't tried it yet). If so, just delete the text and type using the path. If the path isn't still there, draw a new path before deleting the text, using the text baseline for how to shape the path. Should only take a few seconds to do.
The provider isn't evidently supplying a CDR version, so it probably does work as intended in AI.
