Hi.
We recently updated from X6 and something strange is happening with CDX7 Text tool.
While using the Text Tool (paragraph or artistic) we're supposed to see the blinking cursor.
So far so good.
If we change the window with Alt+Tab, for copying some text from other document to paste it into corel, when we return to corel the blinking cursor is gone and we can't paste text or edit it anymore until some click is made in the shape.
Oddly we can still use shift+arrow to highlight the text and apparently the arrows alone still work despite the invisible cursor.
This behavior is new to X7. X6 and X5 worked fine.
Anyone else having the same problem?
Steps to replicate it:
Select text toolCreate some text in the documentWith the text in "edit" mode (cursor blinking) change active window with Alt+Tab (Windows)Alt+Tab back to corelAt this stage, is the cursor still blinking? Try to enter some more text without clicking again in the shape. Gone ok?If not, try with Shift+left arrow. Is the text getting selected?
Thanks,
Pedro Coelho
Yes I confirm this issue. There have been few more similar issues popped up in X7. The focus is shifted to somewhere else.
