What I LOVE about Corel is the way you can make things look as good as a photograph, and yet do a simple line drawing of a cartoon character and it looks that good.

That's what I do too. I usually stay away from outlines if possible and make shapes. You can also select all and choose the outline pen and set the outlines' size to scale with the image.

Corel is tricky. you can't use lines with it being vectored. If I use a hair line at a large size, if I reduce the pic real tiny, the line thickness stays the same and you suddenly have a black blob instead of a line drawing. So I have to actually draw the lines as shapes so no matter what size I make it, I don't lose the line quality.
Nice. I like the thick black outlines all with rounded corners.
And yes...I faked the signature. I traced it out to lend authenticity to the pic. It is HIS creation...I just translated it.
