Most excellent work! I have never seen better work using Photopaint. I am amazed that you are able to keep track all the layers that must be involved. Simply marvelous work and I love the American Indian subject matter - such a display of strength, spirit, and character; you've done much honor for this noble race. Thank you.
it can not be any better, you should be proud!
This is simply outstanding work!
@Stefan
I'm German, and I don't understand any Swedish. ;-)
No, I work from scratch and I dont paint over a photo. Basically I do it the same way I would do it with traditional works like oils for example. Only I work with layers. I use different layers for the scratch, the backround and at least one layer for the character.
I open two Photopaint files: one with the reference and the second one is my drawing. To get the proportions exactly like on the reference I use the grid which I overlay on both files. This way everything is in the right place. :-)
Hi Wendelin!
This is without doubt great work you have done.
Weather you have coloured a photo or painted it from scratch using the photo by Edward Curtis or not, doesnt matter, when it comes to how well executed you have done this work.
It would be interesting to know HOW you did this. Meaning, did you bring this photo into photo-paint, and afterwards colour it, from the original black. Or did you bring into photo-paint and then painted it from scratch.
Well done either way. Very good work
Wendelin sounds swedish. If so: "Hej!"
DIVIANTART |::::|- great masterpiece, without doubt
Thank you very much, Ariel. Now I got my own gallery and I'm allowed to show my works to the Corel community as well. :-) Which makes sense since I love Photopaint. ;-)
