This is the Colonial Laser Pistol from Battlestar Galactica. I am extremely proud of this one. I usually enjoy doing colorful subjects. But aside from the handle and a few red buttons, this was all black. It was a study in shading and highlighting. And it came out pretty darn realistic. Took a long time to draw, but it was a learning experience and a lot of fun.
